A short overview of the activities of the Department during its 40 years of existence and the present state-of-the-art. In 2018 the Institute of Oceanology celebrated its 45 years anniversary and 40 years of the establishment of the Scientific Information and Library Department.
At the ceremony, an honorary sign 45 Years IO-BAS was awarded to the Head of the Department for the contribution to the Institute's development and timely provision of the necessary scientific information for the implementation of research projects.
